This book is pure trash and I enjoyed every second of it. The will they won’t they relationship, mixed with juvenile toxicity (which is infuriating at times), the wealth of gossip girl characters, the underlying secret with an explosive heartbreaking finale. It’s a great world to get lost in if you’re looking for some Holland Park escapism.The constant designer item descriptions killed me! This should not be a character trait. And we love Booshka.

I'm all for a messy book, I read them often in fact, but this book was just urghh! the characters were a mess and don't get me started in mmc, he was literally the most toxic character I've ever read.

The world this lady Jessa has created, the brand she has created is incredible. The work that has gone into this story is without a doubt the most creative story I’ve read. Maybe ever.
From beginning to end you will fall into the biggest magnolia parks hole. The world sucks you in and you will never want to leave even at them hard parts you will read.
Magnolia and Bj are childhood sweethearts. They are that couple who love each other too much to the point of pain.
BJ hurts magnolia in a way she won’t forgive him or give into him. This set bj on a path of self destruction. And set magnolia on a path of dating anyone but BJ.

What draws you into this story is that BJ and magnolia are real, they feel real, they are likeable and also unlikeable.
There love is young love that grows as they getting older and have more experience without each other.

Each character in this story plays a role. They are family. The love they have for each other is something most dream of. So while reading this story you will dream and it will hurt at times but the hurt is so worth it.
I have to mention the writing. The formatting of the story, the different povs. It’s done so well. Absolutely brilliant.

There was honestly not one part of this story that I didn’t love.

Listening to it was fantastic. The narrators are so so perfect. They bring this incredible story to life. I think listening was more enjoyable than reading it and I loved reading experience. But you will never get the feels on the level you get when you listen to it. Also if you use ku download this book first so it’s on your kindle then buy the audio you get it for cheaper if you have the ku in your library.
