What I like mostly about this series is the narrator…..Jonathan Keeble! He puts so much into the stories it’s incredible, who needs a tv! The stories by David Jackson are awesome…..truly gripping. On to the next one now……

David Jackson is one of my favourite authors but this is not his strongest book with DI Cody as the main character. However some of the dialogue is very witty in places and had me laughing out loud! Worth a listen.

really enjoy the characters and banter between them. the build up in 1-4 was excellent and this continues the situation Cody is in adding in plot points you can see creating situations agead. more believable than a lot of DS/DCI stories.

Excellent storyline as always and Jonathon Keeble never fails to entertain us with his wonderful performance, bringing the characters to life.

Poor DS Cody

I enjoyed the story but felt done of the characters had comic sounding voices and I f do not think that added a turning to the reading and actually was a bit distracting. Loved the writing though and hope it won’t be long until the next book comes out.
